Opening the drum door in the
event of a blocked drain outlet
and/or power failure

Switch the washing machine off.
There is a lever behind the detergent
drawer fascia panel.
^ Remove the lever.
^
Use it to open the access flap.

If the drain outlet is blocked, up to 25 li

tres of water will be retained in the ma

chine.

Caution: if laundry has been
washed at a high temperature, water
draining out of the machine will still
be hot. Danger of scalding!
Procedure for draining the machine

Place a suitable container under the
access flap.
When draining water from the machi-
ne, do not unscrew the drain filter
completely or take it right out.
^
Unscrew the drain filter lid until water
runs out.
To interrupt the flow of water:
^
Tighten the drain filter back up again.
