Freshen up
The drying air is heated up for a
specific length of time. After this, the
garments are aired to the Normal
drying level without any more heat
being added.
Use the Freshen up Extra option to
eliminate or reduce unwanted smells in
clean clothing. Items must be suitable
for drying in a tumble dryer. Dampen
the garments a little beforehand or add
a fabric conditioner sheet. Odours will
not be removed as effectively from any
parts of the garments which are made
of synthetic fibres.
Anti-crease
After the programme has finished, the
drum will rotate, depending on the
programme selected, for 2 hours in a
special rhythm. This "anti-crease
rhythm" helps to prevent laundry
creasing if you do not wish to remove it
immediately.
Gentle tumble
For drying items which can be dried in
a tumble dryer but which are
particularly susceptible to creasing or
which are not suitable for drying with a
great deal of mechanical action. When
this option is selected, the drum will
rotate less frequently.
The programme duration is longer.
Buzzer
A buzzer sounds (at intervals for a
maximum of 1 hr) to let you know the
programme has finished.
The buzzer will always sound when
there is a fault, even if it has been
switched off.
Note:
You can alter the duration of the
anti-crease phase, the volume of the
buzzer and the drying levels of some
programmes (see "Settings menu").
