5. Change over the door hinge on the
door
The door hinge is secured to the door
with 2
angled rods. These rods need
to be removed with a screwdriver or
pointed pliers.
Inse
rt the end of the screwdriver
blade under rod and rotate it so it
is in an upright position. Do the same
to the other rod.
Use the scr
ewdriver to guide first one
then the other rod to the middle
until each can be removed.
Tip: In some cir
cumstances, the rods
can be difficult to dislodge. Moving the
screwdriver with a levering action while
pulling at the same time may help to
work the rods free.
Remove the door hinge and turn it
thr
ough 180°.
Refit the door hi
nge on the opposite
side of the door.
Secur
e the door hinge with the two
rods .
P
osition the screwdriver under the
end of the rod and then push it into
its resting position .
