Problem Possible cause and remedy
No detergent and/or
fabric softener was dis‐
pensed.
Automatic dispensing has not been activated.
 Touch the Dos  sensor before running the next
programme.
Automatic dispensing will be activated.
No detergent/fabric softener was dispensed although
automatic dispensing was activated.
 Try again.
 If detergent is still not dispensed, call Miele.
There are dark specks
in the liquid detergent.
Mould has developed in the detergent.
 Pour the liquid detergent out of the container and
then clean the container thoroughly.
