With a view to using this machine in a better condition, please be sure to the following daily care after at the end of the daily
work. Please refer to “Daily care manual” for the detail.
Cleaning of around the heads
Cleaning of the station
1. Clean the cap.
(1) Wipe off the ink adhered to the edge of the cap rubber with a UJ
swab containing the cleaning solution for maintenance. Clean
until the state, such as a photograph.
(2) Make sure that no dust attached on the edge of the cap rubber.
2. Clean the wiper.
Wipe off the ink of the wiper and its surroundings with UJ
swab containing the cleaning solution for maintenance.
Clean the UV unit
1. Clean the underside of the UV lamp.
(1) If the ink is attached to the underside of UV lamp, wipe off with a
clean stick or a soft cloth containing alcohol.
(2) Wipe off so that alcohol will not remain.

1. Clean around the nozzle surface.
Wipe off the ink of around the head with a clean
stick containing the cleaning solution for
maintenance.
Wipe off the ink which attached to the black part
and the gap around the head.
• When the dust had been attached, it may cause poor
image quality (missing nozzle) and ink drop.
• If alcohol remains, it may cause ink drops and
curing failure.

• During cleaning, please be careful not to touch absolutely the nozzle surface (the red part of the photo).
• When you leave during maintenance, please make sure to complete the cleaning by pressing the [ENTER] key.
Without completing the cleaning, the nozzle part is left uncovered and then outside light makes the ink cure,
which causes nozzle clogging or the like.
