b Remove the upper positioning plate of the gas spring.
On the side of the gas spring at the top of the column, remove the two M3X8 cross recessed
panhead screws for fastening the upper positioning plate of the gas spring, and then take out
the upper positioning plate.
c Remove the lower positioning plate of the gas spring.
Remove the M3X8 cross recessed panhead screw (lower part of the gas spring) for fastening
the lower positioning plate of the gas spring. Deflect the screwdriver when removing this
screw because this screw is covered by the upper cover of the base.
