Perform the following maintenance daily or as necessary:
Clean the external surfaces.
Calibrate the O
2
sensor.
When the patient’s exhaled gas may contaminate
the inspiratory safety
valve assembly, it is necessary to replace with disinfected inspiratory safety
valve and membrane.
Replace the expiration valve if it is damaged.
Calibrate the CO
2
module when the CO
2
measured value has a great devia-
tion.
Calibrate the touch screen if its function is degraded.
Perform the following maintenance monthly or as necessary:
Check the dust  lter for dust build-up. Clean or replace as necessary.
Perform the following cleaning and disinfection for each patient:
Wipe ventilator external surface (including housing, power cord,
supply gas hose), trolley, and support arm for cleaning. Wipe or place
them under ultraviolet radiation for disinfection.
Perform the following cleaning and disinfection for each patient or every
week:
Immerse expiration valve assembly (except membrane), expiration
valve membrane and patient tube (including water trap, Y piece,
adapter) in detergents for cleaning. Immerse or autoclave them for
disinfection.
For cleaning and disinfection of mainstream CO
2
sensor, SpO
2
sensor,
nebulizer and humidifier, refer to the instructions provided by the
vendors.
Perform the following cleaning and disinfection as necessary:
Immerse inspiration safety valve assembly in detergents for cleaning.
Immerse or autoclave it for disinfection.
Perform the following cleaning and disinfection every 4 weeks or as nec-
essary:
Immerse the fan dust screen and filter in detergents for cleaning and
under ultraviolet radiation for disinfection.
Immerse the HEPA filter and dust filter in detergents for cleaning and
under ultraviolet radiation for disinfection.
