      If the control panel of your Minolta Copier shows nothing, and only the Start Key is lit up green, the copier is likely in Energy Saver Mode. To resolve this, simply press any key on the Control Panel to cancel the Energy Saver Mode. Alternatively, the copier might be in Auto Shut OFF Mode, in which case you should turn the Power Switch ON.

      If the copy from your Minolta Copier has dark specks or spots, the Original Glass might be dirty. Wipe it clean with a soft, dry cloth. Also, the Original Pad or Document Feed Belt could be dirty; clean them with a soft cloth dampened with mild detergent. If the original is very thin or highly transparent, place a blank sheet of paper over it. If you're copying a two-sided, thin original, the information on the back might be slightly reproduced; set the copier to Manual Exposure Mode and lighten the exposure level.

      If the image on your Minolta Copier is too light, and you're using Auto Exposure Mode, the exposure level might be set to a lighter setting. Change the setting in the User’s Choice (Exposure Priority) or cancel Auto Exposure Mode and select Manual Exposure Mode to darken the image. If you are using manual exposure, press the Exposure Control Key to darken the image.

      If the edge of the copy from your Minolta Copier is dirty, the Original Pad or Document Feed Belt might be dirty. Try wiping them clean with a soft cloth dampened with mild detergent. Also, check if you've selected a paper size larger than the original; if so, select the same size or use Auto Size Mode. Ensure the original is placed correctly. Select the paper drawer that is loaded in the same direction as the original, or reload the paper in the same direction as the original. The reduction ratio selected may not be in accord with the copy paper size. Select the zoom ratio according to the copy paper size, or use the Auto Size Mode to reduce the copy to the appropriate size.

      If the image on the copy from your Minolta Copier is not aligned properly, make sure the original is placed correctly on the Original Glass or loaded correctly into the Document Feeder along the Document Guide Plates. If you're using the Document Feeder, the originals may not be suitable for it. Try raising the Document Feeder and placing the originals on the Original Glass one at a time.

      If the image on your Minolta Copier is too dark, and the exposure level for the Auto Exposure Mode is set at one of the darker settings, change the setting in the User’s Choice (Exposure Priority), or cancel the Auto Exposure Mode and select the Manual Exposure Mode to obtain a lighter image. If the manual exposure level is set on the darker side, press the Exposure Control Key as necessary to obtain a lighter image.

If the Warning Indicator is lit up, check the Control Panel and take action according to the particular Indicator.
