will
be
set
if
the
shutter
speed
displayed

the
meter's
data
panel
is
1/8000
sec.
RELEASE
CALIBRATION
The
Flash Meter
IV
has been
precisely
calibrated
to
Minolta's
standard
during
manufacture.
No
further
adjustment
of the
meter
is
usually
required
for
optimum
results.
However,
should
you
wish to
calibrate
the
Flash Meter
IV to
match
the
reading
from
another
meter,
the
Flash Meter
IV
can be
adjusted
-0.8
to
+0.7
EV
f rom
the
standard
setting.
To
adiust
the
meter,
use
a
small
screwdriver
to
turn the
measuring-level
adjustment
screw
which is
located
under the
battery
cover.
Turning
the
screw
clockwise
produces
a
higher
reading;
turning
counter-
clockwise
produces
a
lower
reading.The
marks
around
the
screw
represent 0.2
EV
steps
as
shown
by
the
diagram.
NOTE

The
Flash Meter
IV should
be adjusted
only after
determ
in
ing that
the
standard
setting

not
produce
the
desired
