3. CAMCORDER OPERATION
Once you have inserted the memory card and plugged your dashcam into a power source,
your camcorder will automatically power on. You may also manually power your camcorder
on or off by pressing the POWER button for 3 seconds.
There are 2 operation modes available for use. To cycle through the different modes, simply
short press the MODE button.
3.1 Capture Mode
Once your camcorder powers on, it will default to Capture Mode and will begin recording
automatically. To start or stop recording at any time, press the MODE button. This will enter
the Menu Mode. To manually capture video again, simply press the MODE button to revert
back to Capture Mode you’re your dashcam will begin recording video again.
3.2 Menu Mode
To enter the Menu Mode and adjust settings, press the MODE button once. While in Menu
Mode, you can cycle through the various submenus to adjust the dashcam’s settings. To exit
Menu Mode and revert back to Capture Mode, simply press the MODE button again.
3.3 Playback
To review your video and photo files, press the MODE button. Short press the POWER /
MODE button until a previously captured file is shown on the screen. The most recent file
captured will be displayed first.
x Press the UP and DOWN buttons to cycle through available playback files of photos and
videos.
x To delete a file or to protect a file from deletion, press the MENU button.
x Press the POWER / MODE button again to exit PLAYBACK mode.
Playing Back Video Clips
x Press the OK button to play or pause a video clip in PLAYBACK mode.
x To delete a file or to protect a file from deletion, press the MENU button.
