dependingonyourselectionandvolumeofrice
tobecooked,e.glesscookingtimerequiredfor
smallervolume,longercookingtimerequiredfor
largervolume.

BeforeusingyournewPressureCooker,it
isimportantthatyoureadandfollowthe
instructionsinthisUseandCarebooklet,even
ifyoufeelthatyouarequitefamiliarwiththis
typeofappliance.Findaplacetokeepthis
booklethandyforfuturereference.Attentionis
particularlydrawntothesectiondealingwith
“IMPORTANTSAFEGUARDS”.
Thisappliancehasbeendesignedtooperate
fromastandarddomesticpoweroutlet.Itisnot
intendedforindustrialorcommercialuse.
BeforeFirstUse
Removeanypackagingmaterialsand
promotionallabelsfromyourelectricpressure
cooker.
Besureallpartshavebeenincludedbefore
discardinganypackagingmaterials.Youmay
wanttokeeptheboxandpackingmaterialsfor
useatalaterdate.
Pleasetearofftheprotectivelmoncoverthe
controlpanelinbeforersttimeuse.
BeforeusingyourElectricPressureCookerfor
thersttime,removeanydustfromshipping
bywipingcleanwithadampcloth.Thoroughly
cleanthelidandthecookingpot.Thecooking
potcanbecleanedinthedishwasherorwith
warmsoapywater.
Rinsewithcleanwater,towelorairdry,and
placeintothepressurecooker.
1. Placethepressurecookeronaclean,at
surfacewhereyouintendtocook.
2. Placethecondensationcollectorinrearof
theunituntilitclicksintoplace.(Fig1).

3. Placethepressurelimitvalveonthelidsteam
ventnozzle,ensuringitseatssecurely.
Note: The pressure limit valve does not
click or lock in to place. Even though it
will have a loose t, it is safely secured.
4. Setthepressurereleasecontrolringunder
thelidhandlebyturnthetabtothe‘Seal’
position.(Fig.2)
