5.2 Examination for Installation Method in Enclosure
Examine the installation location of PLC considering the environmental conditions (Page 19 Generic Specifications).
The PLC can be installed by the following methods.
Keep a space of about 2 mm between the products.
Installing on DIN rail
• The PLC can be installed on a DIN46277 rail (35 mm wide).
• The PLC can be easily moved and removed.
• The PLC installation height is the same as the DIN rail.
For details on the procedures for installing on and detaching from DIN rail, refer to Page 77 Procedures for Installing on
and Detaching from DIN Rail.
■Example of installation

Installing directly
• The PLC can be installed directly in the enclosure with M4 screws.
For mounting hole pitch, refer to Page 80 Hole pitches for direct mounting.
