ATAPI CD-ROM
Please follow these precautions when handling a
CD-ROM or CD:
• Do not put any objects on the open tray.
• Do not subject the CD-ROM to any strong impacts or vibration.
• Only handle CDs by the edge.
• Only use special markers to write on CDs and never put labels onto CDs,
since these cause vibrations which will affect the running of the CD-ROM.
• Always keep compact disks in their sleeves to prevent the delicate surface
from being scratched or damaged.
• CDs should only be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth by wiping in straight
lines from the center outwards. Never use solvents, record cleaner or anti-
static fluids of any kind.
