SEQUENCER MORE PAGE
Pressing the triangular MORE button in the upper right corner of the Sequencer module will reveal
a second level of parameters than can be accessed and modied using the interactive portion of the
Center Console. The left pane represents the sequenced data. The right pane shows the current values
of the Front Panel parameters for this module. The additional MORE parameters are displayed in the
bottom portion of the screen.
NOTE: Pressing the (now) illuminated MORE button will exit the MORE page and recall the HOME screen.
The onscreen MORE page parameters are
edited using the four Soft Knobs below
the screen.
CHANGING THE VALUE
Rotate the Soft Knob below the parameter
name to change its value. In some cases,
the Soft Knob simply turns a function on
or off. In other cases, the Soft Knob may
choose from a list of values or settings,
and in other cases, the Soft Knob is
dialing in a value – either absolute or a
percentage.
SELECTING A ROW
The scroll bar at the right edge indicates the current row. Rotate the Master Encoder to the right to
highlight the next row of parameters. Rotating the Master Encoder to the left will select a previous row.
Again, rotate the Soft Knob below the parameter to change its value.
SYNC (OFF, ON)
When Sync is Off, the Sequencer is free to run at its own tempo. When Sync is On, the Sequencer and
Master Clock are synchronized, and the Master Clock determines the Sequencer tempo.
NOTE: When SYNC ON is selected here, rotating the Sequencer RATE knob on the Front Panel will select
quantized clock divisions (see below) of the Master Clock.
CLOCK DIVISION (4, 2, 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32)
When Sync is On, the Master Clock provides a tempo base; and choosing a clock division of that tempo
base sets the Sequencer speed. When Sync is Off, this parameter instead selects a clock division of
the tempo set by the Sequencer RATE knob on the front panel. Changing the value of the CLOCK
DIVISION parameter species the timing in terms of quarter-note beats.
CLOCK TIMING (STRAIGHT, DOTTED, TRIPLET)
Clock Timing provides a further modication of the step duration, allowing for a wider selection of
note timings relative to the Master Clock tempo (Sync On) or the Sequencer Rate tempo (Sync Off).
Here the timing of each note played can be set relative to the tempo.
STRAIGHT
The timing of each step is played as specied by the CLOCK DIVISION parameter.
DOTTED
The timing of each step is modied to play as a dotted note, or at 1.5 x the value specied by
the CLOCK DIVISION parameter.
TRIPLET
The timing of each step is modied to play as if it were one note in a triplet, or at 2/3rds of the
value specied by the CLOCK DIVISION parameter.
