TRANSPORTING THE BRUSH CHIPPER
1. The standard towing hitch on the brush chipper is a 2" ball hitch. Be sure the towing vehicle hitch is pro-
perly equipped for the hitch on your brush chipper. The towing vehicle should be capable of handling a
minimum of 800# tongue wieght.
2. Check to make sure the hitch has been properly attached and safety pins installed.
4. Check tire pressure to ensure proper inflation which is found on the side of the tire.
5. Hook up electrical connections and be sure tail lights and turn signals function properly.
6. Cradle safety chains under towing hitch and securely attach them to the towing vehicle. Raise
tongue jack and swivel to horizontal position.
7. Remove wheel blocks and check around machine for any tools or loose items that might
be lost during transport.
8. Before moving your brush chipper be sure to check wheel rims for fatigue or loose bolts.

Always use this equipment in accordance with your local OSHA guidelines.
