Oil samples can be easily collected from Calisto/Calisto 2 using the supplied Quick Connect Oil
Sampling Tube. Refer to Figure 40 for the location of the SAMPLING port.
1. It is recommended to close the OUTLET valve to prevent taking an oil sample with
excessive pressure.
2. Attach the supplied Quick Connect Oil Sampling Tube to a glass syringe - typically 30cc
capacity or a Shake Test
®
Syringe - fitted with a three-way stopcock.

3. With the syringe piston fully depressed and the three-way stopcock handle positioned
towards the syringe, connect the assembly to the instrument oil SAMPLING port.
