What to do if my Morphy Richards ACCENTS BREADMAKER Bread Maker bread is under baked with a soggy center?
    • R
      rebecca11Aug 31, 2025
An under baked loaf with a soggy center can happen if there's too much liquid from fresh or canned fruit. Always drain liquids well as specified in the recipe, and you might need to reduce the water slightly. Large amounts of rich ingredients like nuts, butter, dried fruits, syrups, and grains can also make the dough heavy, slowing down the rising and preventing it from baking through. Make sure to measure ingredients accurately and never exceed the stated amounts in the recipe.

    Lisa BrooksSep 3, 2025
Why is the surface of my Morphy Richards ACCENTS BREADMAKER bread sticky?
    • A
      Amy YoungSep 3, 2025
A sticky bread surface can occur if the bread was left in the machine too long, causing condensation on the baking pan. Whenever possible, remove the bread from the baking pan and cool it on a wire rack before the keep warm period ends. Also, the wet/dry balance of the ingredients may be incorrect, so measure ingredients accurately.

To fix this, measure ingredients accurately, use liquids between 21°C and 28°C, and avoid opening the lid during baking. If the problem persists, reduce the yeast by 1/4 teaspoon. For high humidity, bake during the coolest part of the day or use refrigerated liquids and avoid using the timer function.
