No dial tone
• Use only the telephone line cord supplied.
• Make sure that the telephone line cord is connected properly.
• Make sure that the power plug is connected properly and switched on.
No display
• Make sure that the batteries are inserted correctly and fully charged. Use
only approved rechargeable batteries supplied.
• Make sure that the handset is switched on. Press and hold e.
• Reset the base by removing the batteries and disconnecting the power
supply. Wait for around 15 seconds before connecting it again. Allow up to
1 minute for the handset and base to synchronize.
flashes
• The handset is out of range. Move it closer to the base.
• Make sure that the handset is registered to the base.
• Make sure that the power plug is connected properly and switched on.
Keypad does not seem to work
• Make sure that the keypad lock is not on.
is not scrolling during charge
• Adjust the handset slightly on the base.
• Clean the charging contacts with a cloth moistened with alcohol.
• Make sure that the power plug is connected properly and switched on.
• The battery is full. When the handset is fully charged, will appear
steadily on the display.
No Caller ID
• Check your subscription with your network operator.
• The caller may have withheld their number.
• The record cannot be found in your phonebook. Make sure that you have
the correct name / number stored in your phonebook, with the full area
code.
Cannot register a handset to the base
• You can register up to a maximum of 4 handsets to a C1CB+ base. You must
de-register a handset in order to register a new one.
• Make sure that you have entered the correct PIN code (default = 0000).
• Make sure that you are at least one metre away from other electrical
equipment to avoid interference when registering the handset.
