Disassembly C350 Series
Battery Removal and Replacement
Battery date codes are explained in the Battery Date Code section on page 13
Before handling the battery, please observe the battery cautions listed below.
1. Remove the rear housing, as described in the procedures.
2. Slide the battery in the direction of the arrow as shown in Figure 5A.
3. Lift the top of the battery near the alert speaker out of the battery compartment
as shown in Figure 5B.
4. To replace, insert the bottom of the battery into the battery compartment with
contacts facing downward as shown in Figure 5B.
5. Press the top of the battery into the battery compartment.
6. Replace the rear housing cover as described in the procedures.

Do not handle batteries with wet or sweaty hands.
Do not short the positive or negative terminals
Non conductive tweezers or grasping tools are to be used for battery connector
manipulation, assembly, and disassembly.

There is a danger of explosion if the Lithium ion battery is replaced incorrectly.
Replace only with the same type of battery or equivalent as recommended by the
battery manufacturer. Dispose of used batteries according to the manufacturer’s
instructions.
