10.3 Handset name
If you are using more than one cordless handset with your C42 base, you can set a
personalized name for each handset to easily distinguish between them.
A name can be up to 12 characters long.
1. Press

and press m.
3. The display shows the current name.
4. Edit the name and press
m to confirm.
5. Press
n to return to standby.

Note
Press and hold
m to switch between the handset display showing the handset
name and number or the date and time.
10.4 Set the date and time
If you have subscribed to Caller ID Service, the date and time will be set on all
your handsets whenever a call is received. You can also manually set the date and
time on the individual handsets.
1. Press

3. Using the keypad enter the date (e.g. 04-12-2019 for 4th of December 2019)
and press

to confirm.
4. Enter the time in 24 hour format (e.g. 18-30 for 6:30pm) and press
