Services
On the base:
1. Press and hold
P for 5 seconds until you hear a beep. The base will remain
in registration mode for 90 seconds.
On the handset:
1. If the handset is not register to a base press
m and then enter the 4 digit PIN
code (default = 0000) and press
m
.
2. If the handset is already register to a base press
m, scroll d to
Services
and
press
m
.
3. Scroll
d to
Register
and press m.
4. The display will ask for the PIN to be entered. Enter the 4 digit PIN code
(default = 0000) and press
m. You will hear a beep if the registration is
successful. The handset is automatically assigned an available handset
number. Use this number when making internal calls.
11.8 De-register a handset
Use your base to de-register a handset.
1. Press
m, scroll d to
Services
and press m.
2. Scroll
d to
Unregister
and press m.
3. The display shows PIN, using the keypad enter the PIN and press
m.
4. Scroll to the handset you want to de-register and press
m to confirm.
5. Press
n to return to standby.
11.9 Restore default settings
You can restore your C42 to its default (original) settings. All the handsets that are
registered to the base will be retained.
Important
Resetting your phone to its default settings will delete all entries in the Redial list
and Calls list. All handset and base settings will also be reset.

Reset
and press m.
3. The display shows
Confirm?
press m to confirm.
