Connection to Standard Personal Computer
The laptop to MW810, 12.1” Display Signal Cable (optional DVI, P.N FKN8454 or RGB,
P.N FKN8449 cable) enables you to interface the MW810, 12.1” Display to any laptop or
personal computer. For cable connection, refer to Figure 9.
The following table describes the connectors of the MW810, 12.1” Display to Laptop or
St
andard Personal Computer.
• Long Display Signal Cables (longer than 3 Meters, 10 feet) should be routed
insi
de protective ducts to avoid damage.
• The MW810 Mobile Workstation Display is shipped with a protective film that
co
vers the touch screen. Once installation is completed, the protective film must
be removed to avoid damage to the touch screen during operation.

Connector Description

USB 2.0 USB communication with the personal computer.
This communication enables operation of the function buttons,
emerg
ency button and Power button for turning the workstation
On/Off.
Speaker Jack Audio signal from the personal computer to display speaker.
On /Off Signal Wire
(Green wire)
On /Off Signal Wire (active low 0V) is used as a trigger signal
for ac
tivating the display when docking the ML910 or ML900
laptop computers.
