Installing the NIMH battery:
First Then Finally
• Turn off the radio
(see page ?).
• Push latch up until it
clicks.
• Lift back cover off.
• Insert the NiMH
battery with the
contacts facing up
• Hook back cover on
the hinges.
• Close battery door,
pressing lightly until
the latch clicks
