Check these questions first if you have problems with your

up correctly?
Press M #. If you do not see your
phone number, contact your service
provider.
Is your battery
charged? Do you
see B in the
display?
The battery level indicator should have
at least one segment showing (C). If
it does not, recharge your battery. (See
“Charging the Battery” on page 21 and
“Battery Use” on page 29.)
Does the handset
have a signal?
Do you see j in
the display?
Make sure that your antenna is fully
extended. The signal strength indicator
should have at least one segment
showing (

area with a stronger signal to use your
phone.
Is the earpiece
volume too low?
While on a call, press the upper volume
key on the side of your phone.
Is the other party
unable to hear
you?
Make sure that your antenna is fully
extended and that your phone is not
muted. Press UNMUTE (+) if necessary
to unmute the phone.
Also, make sure that your phone’s

carrying case or a sticker.
