Messages—Text
Text messages are brief messages that you can send
and receive (such as Where are we meeting?).
Received messages appear on your phone display or
in your text message inbox.
Quick notes are pre-written text messages that you can
customize and send quickly.
Your text message inbox must be set up before you can send and
receive these messages. The total number of messages the inbox
can hold depends on the length of the messages, and the
number of other messages and drafts stored on your phone.
Setting Up the Text Message Inbox
Note: Your service provider may have already programmed the
text message inbox settings for you.
Find the Feature M > Messages
M > Text Msg Setup
Press To

CHANGE (+) change the Cleanup setting

scroll to the number of days that
messages should stay in the text
message inbox, or the number of
messages that should be kept in the
inbox
