The message center lets you compose and send text messages.
(See “Entering Text” on page 47.) A flashing cursor shows you
where the text will appear:
When you enter text, the flashing cursor changes to a block
cursor , and the soft key functions change:
Msg:
CANCEL BROWSE
Press
BROWSE ( + )
to view and
insert a name,
number, or
message from
previously
stored
information.
Press
CANCEL ( - )
to exit without
making changes.
Flashing
cursor
indicates
insertion
point.
Press
M
to open the
sub-menu.

DELETE OK
Press OK ( + )
to accept and
store the text.
Press
DELETE ( - ) to
delete the character to the
left of the insertion point.
Block
cursor
indicates
current
highlighted
character.
After two seconds, the block
cursor reverts to a flashing cursor
and moves to the next position.
