Radio Overview
This chapter explains the buttons and default functions of your radio.
No. Buttons Descriptions
1 Talkgroup/Contact List
Scroll Rocker
Press: Scroll to next channel/talkgroup in the list.
Press and hold: If there are more than 16 talkgroups,
fast scroll is enabled.
2 Power/Info button Press: Access Information mode.
Press and hold: Turn the radio on and off.
3 LED Status Indicator Red, green, and amber light-emitting diodes indicate op-
erating status.
4 Push-to-Talk (PTT) button Press or press and hold to execute voice operations.
5 Volume Up and Volume
Down buttons
Increase and decrease the volume level.
6 Menu/Programmable but-
ton
Press: Access Menu mode.
Press and hold: Access Programmable Function. The
default programmable function is Contact List.
7 LED Display Provides visual information.
8 Microphone Allow voice to be sent during voice operations.
9 USB Port For charging purposes.
10 Audio Accessory Port A port to attached accessory devices.
11 High-Output Speaker Outputs all tone and audio generated by the radio.
12 LTE Antenna Provide the needed Radio Frequency (RF) amplification
when transmitting and receiving.
