Themaximumrangefeaturesetsthemaximumrangeatwhich
thelaserwilllockontoas peedtarget.
Distancesmeasuredatadistancebeyondthisrangevaluewillnotbedisplayed.Themaximumrange
valuethatcanbesetistypically8,000feetorthemaximumvalueallowedinyourjurisdictionandis
presetatthefactory.
Pressingtheleftand
rightarrowsnexttothesettingwilladjustthemaximumrangedownorup.
Pressingandholdingdowneitherbuttonwillstarttoacceleratetheincrementordecrementvalue
changesfrom1to10.Continuedholdingwillacceleratetheincrementanddecrementvaluechanges
from10to100.
NOTE:If
thelaserissettocontinuousfiremodeandthetargetgoesoutsideofthesetlimits,thelaser
willceasetoupdatethespeed anddistanceinformationuntilthetargetcomesbackintotheaccepted

arrowdown).Thisselectionwillonlyaffectmovingtargets.

TheFOLLOWINGTOOCLOSEMENU(Figure13)willtakeyouintothetailgatingfunctionofthelaser.In
thisfunctionyouareabletomeasurethestoppingtimeanddistancerequiredbyavehiclefollowinga
leadvehicletravelinginastraightlineandsetaviolationoptionofeitherspeedperevery10mph
incrementorofasetseparationtime.
