What does F0 error code mean on mspa Nest?
    • C
      Carolyn WatkinsSep 23, 2025
If your MSpa Hot Tub is showing an F0 error, it indicates that the water temperature is either below 0°C (32°F) or exceeds 50°C (122°F). In this case, change the water. Alternatively, the error could be due to a temperature sensor failure, in which case you should contact your local MSpa Service Center.

Why is my mspa Nest losing air?
    • S
      stephanierodriguezAug 27, 2025
Your MSpa Hot Tub might be losing air because the air valve is loose. Inflate the spa until the yellow section of the manometer is pushed out and ensure the valve is screwed tightly; replace the valve if needed. Another reason could be a hole or split on the spa tub. To locate it, fill a squirt bottle with soapy water and spray on the seams; small bubbles will appear where there is a leak. Clean and dry the leaking area, then use the repair patch supplied with your spa.

    • J
      James HollowaySep 18, 2025
If the ozonator on your MSpa Hot Tub is failing, ensure the water level is above the minimum line by adding water. If the water level is adequate, there may be damaged internal parts, requiring you to contact your local MSpa Service Center. You should also check if the filter pump is working by referring to the "FILTER PUMP DOES NOT WORK“ section. Also ensure press Up+Bubble at the same time (the display shall show the current temperature) to start inflation.

Why is my mspa Nest tub in an abnormal shape?
    • M
      Molly SpencerSep 16, 2025
If your MSpa Hot Tub tub is in an abnormal shape, it is likely due to extra air pressure caused by strong sunlight. Check the air pressure and release air if necessary. During hot weather, it is advisable to check whether some air should be released to avoid any possible damage to the spa pool.

Why is the water in my mspa Nest Hot Tub not clean?
    • G
      gabrielle25Sep 6, 2025
If your MSpa Hot Tub water is not clean, it could be due to several reasons. The water may have been used for an extended period, in which case you should change the water. Insufficient filtration time could also be the cause, so try extending the filtration time. A dirty filter cartridge can also lead to unclean water; clean or replace the filter cartridge promptly. Finally, improper water maintenance could be the issue; in this case, refer to the chemical manufacturer’s instructions.

The appliance is equipped with a PRCD (portable residual current device) with a tripping current of 10mA for electrical safety. Water protection levels are defined by zones according to IEC 60364-7-702, with Zone 0 being the interior of the basin, Zone 1 extending 2m vertically and horizontally from the rim, and Zone 2 extending 1.5m horizontally from Zone 1.

Usage Features

  • Easy Setup: The spa can be installed indoors or outdoors in approximately 10 minutes by one or more persons. Auto-inflation is initiated by pressing the BUBBLE and UP buttons simultaneously, stopping automatically when the correct air pressure is reached. A manometer helps ensure correct air pressure.
  • Controller Operation: The wired controller features an LED display showing the current water temperature. Buttons are provided for Heater, Filter, Bubble, Timer, Up, Down, UVC, and Ozone functions.
  • Heating System: The heater can be turned on/off, and the desired water temperature (20°C to 40°C) can be adjusted. The filtration system automatically starts when heating is active. An anti-icing system activates automatically if the water temperature falls below 1°C (33.8°F), heating the water to 3°C (37.4°F) to prevent freezing.
  • Bubble Massage: Offers three intensity levels (300W, 500W, 720W). The function automatically shuts off after 20 minutes for safety and can be reactivated after 10 minutes.
  • Filtration System: Operates automatically with heating, ozone, or UVC sanitizing. It also runs for 60 minutes every 8 hours in stand-by mode. A reminder flashes when the filter cartridge needs cleaning or replacement.
  • UVC Sanitizer: Built into the control box, it can be turned on at any time, even with people in the spa.
  • Ozone Generator: Operates for 2 hours and then shuts off automatically. It is recommended to use this function after using the spa and not simultaneously with JET or BUBBLE functions.
  • Heating Timer: Allows users to pre-set the number of hours (1 to 99) before the heater activates.
  • Safety Lock: The controller can be locked/unlocked by pressing the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds, disabling controls while retaining previous settings.
  • Temperature Display: Toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit by holding the DOWN button for 3 seconds.
  • Seasonal Use Precautions: Provides specific advice for summer (sheltered placement, regular air pressure checks, lowering water temperature when not in use) and winter (softening PVC material at room temperature before inflation, inflating at temperatures above 15°C/59°F, keeping heater on to prevent freezing, using ground mat and inflatable bladder for heat preservation).
  • Rainy Day Use: MSpa has an IPX5 water-resistant rating, suitable for light rain. However, the bubble function should not be used in rain to prevent moisture from entering the pump. The plug should also be protected from excessive rain.

Maintenance Features

  • Filter Cartridge Maintenance: The filter cartridge should be inspected and cleaned gently after each use. It should be changed every 3-5 days or if soiled/discolored. All functions must be turned off before changing or cleaning the cartridge.
  • Spa Water Maintenance: Water should be changed every 3-5 days, or more frequently if visible dirt or cloudiness occurs. Users are advised to shower before using the spa to prevent cosmetic products from degrading water quality. The spa should be covered when not in use.
  • Chemical Use: Spa chemicals are necessary to maintain proper water conditions. The manual emphasizes following manufacturer's directions, never mixing chemicals, adding chemicals separately, dissolving them thoroughly, and not adding chemicals when the spa is occupied. Misuse of chemicals voids the warranty.
  • Water Sanitation: Regular checking and sanitizing of spa water are crucial to control bacteria and viruses. Maintaining correct water balance using sanitizers is important for the spa's lifespan and user health.
  • Water Balance Parameters: Recommended levels for pH (7.2-7.6 for Chlorine, 7.2-7.8 for Bromine), Free Chlorine (3-5 ppm), Bromine residual (2-4 ppm), Total Alkalinity (80-120 ppm), and Total Hardness (200-500 ppm) are provided with daily/weekly test frequencies. Low pH can damage the spa, while high pH can cause white coagulations in the filter pump.
  • Drainage: Instructions are provided for draining the spa using a garden hose, including lifting the spa wall to ensure complete emptying.
  • Cleaning: The spa tub should be cleaned with a sponge and mild soap solution when empty. Steel wool, hard brushes, or abrasive cleaners should not be used.
  • Storage: After draining and cleaning, all components should be thoroughly dried. The spa tub should be air-dried in mild sun for an hour before folding loosely to avoid damage. It should be stored in a dry, temperature-controlled environment (0°C to 40°C / 32°F - 104°F), preferably with desiccant and in its original packaging.
  • Spa Tub and Air Bladder Repair: Instructions for repairing punctures using an enclosed repair patch are provided, including cleaning, drying, applying glue, and smoothing the patch.
  • Troubleshooting: An error code chart lists common issues (e.g., signal wire loose, communication failed, temperature sensor failure, water temperature out of range) with corresponding solutions or advice to contact the MSpa Service Center. Other problems like spa leaking, not heating properly, losing air, or dirty water are also addressed with solutions.

The manual also includes a limited warranty statement, covering defects in material or workmanship for one year from the purchase date, with specific conditions and exclusions. It advises users to register their warranty and keep proof of purchase for future inquiries.
