Discharge Chute and Controls (Joystick, Hex Shaft)

Remote Pitch Control Head (Plastic Chutes)
To remove/replace the Remote Pitch Control Head:
NOTE: The Remote Pitch Control Head consists of a
Cable Guide, Cable Guide Bracket, and the cables
that run to the pitch control lever/joystick.
1. Remove the wing nut and carriage bolt that holds the
left side of the Chute Deflector to the Discharge
Chute.
2. Remove the nut, indicated by the arrow in Figure
10.1, and the carriage bolt that holds the right side of
the Chute Deflector to the Discharge Chute using a 1/
2” wrench.
3. Remove the screw, indicated by the arrow in Figure
10.2, that anchors the Cable Guide to the Discharge
Chute using a 3/8” wrench.
4. Slide the Chute Deflector off of the snow thrower.
