GETTING STARTED
Set the cutting height
The first cut of the season or long thick wet grass will need the highest setting (5.5 cm). Gradually reduce to
desired height once all ground has been covered. This may take a few days or a few weeks. If the perimeter
wire is pegged to the surface of the garden rather than buried, it is a good idea to let the wire “bed in” to the
surface of the lawn, during which time it is advisable to keep the mower on an elevated blade setting.
NOTE during first few days of mowing the grass may look stripy or patchy where the mower has covered
/not covered. This is normal and will become even after several days once the full lawn area has been
mowed.
