Machine Start-up and Shut-down Procedure
In order to comply with safety issues it is important that the correct start-up and shut-down
sequence is followed. These procedures are designed to ensure operator safety and
machine longevity.
Start-Up Procedure.
• Ensure all safety guards are fitted to the spindle or knife heads.
• Turn on the air supply to the machine.
• Turn on the power to the machine.
• Turn on the machine
After boot up procedure is completed the display will read;
Press the machine will travel to its true 0,0 origin.
The display will read;
Use the key to select Yes or No then press by selecting Yes the spindle
will run for 10 minutes then stop.
Note: During the warm up cycle the spindle RPM will reach 9000. To stop warm up
cycle once it has commenced press the key.
After the warm up cycle has been completed the machine will move to its
programmed home position (G56)
Shut-Down Procedure.
• Remove any tools from the spindle using Function 34
• Turn off the power to the machine.
• Turn off the air supply to the machine.
• Clean down the machine bed.
