Machine Function Codes
These codes are constantly evolving and being added to, this may not be a complete list of machine
functions. The machine functions are divided into a number of groups:
1. Functions 0-9 are General User functions and enable the user to control the displays and
modes of the machine.
2. Functions 10-19 are XY Co-ordinate functions and are used to set co-ordinates and origins in
the XY plane.
3. Functions 20-29 are Z Co-ordinate functions and are used to set co-ordinates and origins in
the Z axis.
4. Functions 30-39 are Tool Control functions and are used to manage the machine's tooling.
5. Functions 40-49 are Productivity functions that can be used to enhance the productivity of the
machine.
6. Functions 50-99 are device specific features and functions.
7. Functions 100-199 are supervisor functions not generally available to the machine operator or
user.
8. Functions 300-399 are device specific functions. Use with care.
9. Functions 800-899 are factory functions not generally used by the machine user.
