What to do if the blades will not rotate on my MULTIQUIP Construction Equipment?
    • A
      Alexander PopeAug 13, 2025
If the blades on your MULTIQUIP Construction Equipment are not rotating, there could be several reasons. First, the material load might be too heavy; try reducing the amount of material being mixed. Alternatively, there may be an object stuck inside the mixing drum, jamming the paddle rotation; in this case, stop the engine, empty the drum, and remove the obstruction. Also, check and adjust the engine speed if it's improper. Other potential causes include incorrect relief valve pressure (inspect for proper relief pressure) or a defective hydraulic motor or pump (contact MQ Technical Services). A defective cylinder seal causing slow hydraulic cylinder dumping could also be the reason.

What should I do if there is no fuel present at the carburetor in my MULTIQUIP EM120 Construction Equipment?
    • S
      Sarah AdamsAug 21, 2025
If no fuel is present at the carburetor, first ensure that there is fuel in the fuel tank and fill it with the correct type of fuel if needed. Check if the fuel cock opens properly; apply lubricant to loosen the fuel cock lever or replace it if necessary. A clogged fuel filter or fuel lines could also be the problem; replace the fuel filter. Additionally, inspect the fuel tank cap breather hole for clogs and clean or replace the cap. Finally, check for air in the fuel line and bleed the fuel line to resolve this.

What can cause my MULTIQUIP EM120 to be difficult to start when fuel is available and there's spark at the spark plug?
    • M
      matthewsamyAug 25, 2025
If your MULTIQUIP Construction Equipment is hard to start despite having fuel and spark, the ON/OFF switch may be shorted; check the switch wiring and replace the switch if needed. The ignition coil could be defective, requiring replacement. Also, inspect the spark gap for proper setting and clean any dirty points. Condenser insulation that is worn or short circuiting can also cause this issue, so replace the condenser. Finally, a broken or short circuiting spark plug wire should be replaced.

Why is my MULTIQUIP EM120 difficult to start even though fuel is available, spark is present, and compression is normal?
    • A
      Ashley PachecoAug 28, 2025
If your MULTIQUIP Construction Equipment is difficult to start despite having fuel, spark, and normal compression, the issue might be the wrong fuel type. If so, flush the fuel system and replace it with the correct fuel. Water or dust in the fuel system could also be the problem, requiring you to flush the fuel system. A dirty air cleaner can cause this issue; clean or replace the air cleaner. Ensure the choke is closed.

What to do if my MULTIQUIP Construction Equipment is difficult to start, has fuel and spark, but the compression is low?
    • W
      Wendy ChangSep 1, 2025
If your MULTIQUIP Construction Equipment is hard to start with fuel, spark, but low compression, the suction/exhaust valve may be stuck or protruded, requiring you to reseat the valves. Worn piston rings or cylinders can also cause this; replace the piston rings or the piston. Ensure the cylinder head and spark plug are properly tightened. If the head gasket or spark plug gasket is damaged, replace them.

Why is the drum difficult to discharge (tilt) on my MULTIQUIP EM120?
    • G
      Gregory MorrisSep 5, 2025
If the drum on your MULTIQUIP Construction Equipment is difficult to discharge (tilt), it could be due to defective or worn drum support brackets. Try applying grease to the bracket or replace it. Alternatively, the blades might be adjusted too tightly; adjust them until they almost touch the side walls of the drum.

How to fix material leaking from drum ends of my MULTIQUIP EM120?
    • B
      brandon31Sep 8, 2025
If material is leaking from the drum ends of your MULTIQUIP Construction Equipment, the paddle shaft seals may be worn or defective. Replace the seals to resolve this issue.

Why is my MULTIQUIP EM120 difficult to start even though fuel is available, but there's no spark at the spark plug?
    • T
      torrescharlesNov 16, 2025
Several factors can cause a MULTIQUIP Construction Equipment to be difficult to start despite available fuel and no spark at the spark plug. It could be due to spark plug bridging, in which case you should check the gap, insulation, or replace the spark plug. A carbon deposit on the spark plug could be the issue, so clean or replace the spark plug. Also, check for a short circuit due to deficient spark plug insulation and replace if worn. Ensure the spark plug gap is set to the proper setting. If the spark plug is red, check the transistor ignition unit. If there is no spark present at the tip of the spark plug, check if the transistor ignition unit is broken and replace it if defective. Also, check if the voltage cord is cracked or broken and replace it. If the spark plug is fouled, repla...
