1.4 Safety Devices
For safe use of this product and for the devices for safety, protection and control that are required to
protect this product, refer to the "Reciprocating Compressor K-series instruction manual" Section 1.4.
The motor of this product is equipped with a thermostat that operates at 130°C, but not with any other
protective devices. Therefore, be sure to install an overload protection device.
In addition, it is recommended to install a unit such as ground-fault circuit interrupter, reversed-phase
protection device and single-phase protection device.
Make sure that the work is performed by qualified personnel or a contracting company in compliance
with local laws and ordinances.
