The following fr:nctions
may be accessed with
the
keypad cover
raised,
BeII Test
(Function
1). This test
wiII
activate
the alarm
[while
disarmed)
for about
2 seconds.
To
test
the alarm,
press
the
FUNCTION
Button
([BYPASS
Z0NEI), then
Key
[1J.
If
the
device
does
not sound,
call
for
service.
llatch
l{ode
(Function
2, optional).
Turns
all
zones designated
as Day Zones
on and off . To activate
the
Llatch
l{ode
(Day
Zones
on),
press
the
FUNCTION
Button
(IBYPASS
Z0NEI)
followed
by Key
[2];
a
"[J"
will
appear
in the
dis-
play
as
long as
the lJatch l{ode
is
active.
To deactivate
the uatch
l,!ode,
arm,
then
disarm.
AII
Day Zones will revert
to regular
Burglary
Zones.
Service Code
(Function
3). Turns on a special
code
intended
for temporary
use by
service
personnel.
To activate,
press
the
FUNCTION
Button
(IBYPASS
ZONEI)
followed by
Key
[3];
an
"S"
wiII
appear
in
the display as
long
as
the
Service
Code
is active
(and
a
Service
Code
has
been
programmed).
Dis-
arming with
any regular Arm/Disarm
Code will
deactivate
the Service
Code.
Chine ltode
(Fr.rnction
4). Sor.rnds
a
momentary
tone
at the
keypad when
the
programmed
zone is opened while
disarmed. To
activate
the
Chime ltode,
raise
the keypad
cover and
press
the FUNCTI0N Button
(IBYPASS
ZONEI)
followed
by
Key
[4].

"C"
will
appear
in
the display
as long
as
the
Chime ]lode
is
active.J
Repeat to deactivate
Function 4 and
turn
off the Chime l{ode.
Locate
(Fr.urction
5). Helps
find zone
troubles
and
indicates when they
are
repaired.
To access
Function 5,
press
the FIINCTI0N
Button
(IBYPASS
Z0NEI),

The
sounder wiII come on
and
the display wiII
read
Fm-m'm-],
then scroll
through
the zones
in
trouble. As each
zone is
corrected,
the sounder
will stop momentarily
signalling
its
repair, and
the
display wiII indicate
the
remaining zones
in trouble.
The
sounder and
dis-
play
will continue
in this manner r:ntil
all
zones
are
repaired, or
r:ntil
the
[RESET]
Button is
pressed.

press

[RESET]
Button.
Start Exit
Delay l,lithout
Ringback
(Fwrction
7,
optional).
If
your
system
reports to a central station
on arming,
it may
have been
programmed
to
start exit delay
after
the
central station
ringback verification
has
been
received.
If the central station ringback
is
not received sithin
about 30
seconds after arming, a transmission
problem
may exist. To
start exit delay
nanually,
press
the
FIINCTI0N Button
([BYPA,SS
ZONEI)
followed by Key
t71.
Exit
the
premises
immediately.
Be sure to
have
your
alarm specialist
check
cornmunications with
the central
station as
soon
as
possible.

TEST Button.
With
the keypad
cover raised,
press
and
hold the TEST
Button
(Iocated
just
below Key
tOl).
This
wiII
cause
all the
indicators
to light,
the
sounder to come on, and the display
to
go
black
as long as
the button
is depressed. If
the system is designed
to communicate
to a central
sta-
tion, the telephone line wiII be tested f.or
t2
seconds after
the button is
released. If the line tests okay, the test
will
terminate. 0therwise, the

on until a test is successful.
