The
use
FIRE PROTECTION
following
information is applicable only
where local ordinance
permits
of this alarm
control
panel
for fire
protection.
Fire-Zone
Alarm.
If
an alarm
is detected,
the
red FIRE/FIRE
TROUBLE
light
wiII come on
and
the sounder
will
pulse.
If
a
fire is
actually in
progress,
evacuate
the
premises
imediately!
If necessary,
caII
the Fire Department
from an
out-
side
phone.
If
there is no evidence
of
a fire,
disarm
(if
armed) to
turn
off
the alarn
(it
may
have been
prograrmed
to shut off automatically
after
a
preset
time).
Press the
[RESET]
Button
to silence the
sounder-
After the
alarm condition
is cleared,
pressing
the
[RESET]
Button
again
will reset
the keypad after
a brief
delay.
Fire-Zone Trouble.
If a break
in the
wiring is
detected,
the FIRE/FIRE TROUBLE
light
wiII
flash
and the
sounder
wiII
pulse.
Disarm
(if
armed)
and
press
the
IRESET]
Button to
silence the sounder. Repair
the
problem,
then
press
the
IRESETI
Button
once again.
The keypad will
reset after
a brief delay.
To display
Fire-Zone
status, raise the keypad
cover,
then
press
the
IDISPI-AY]
Button
followed
by the FIRE STATUS Button.
