A. Remove the glass door.
B. Remove the logs.
C. Remove the air defl ector / light housing (It is not
necessary to disconnect the wires. The assembly
can lay along the right side of the fi rebox).
D. The air control rod can now be adjusted. Pushing
the rod towards the back will open the air shutter
(larger hole, larger opening), pulling the rod towards
the front will close the shutter (smaller hole, smaller
opening).
10.3 FLAME CHARACTERISTICS
It’s important to periodically perform a visual check of the pilot and
burner fl ames. Compare them to the illustrations provided. If any fl ames
appear abnormal call a service person.
