General Bike Electronics Troubleshooting
With external
power removed,
pedal the bike at
25RPM or greater

the console
turn on?

Is
battery in a
charged state?
Yes

Using external
power supply,
charge battery for
8 hours
Remove plastic
shrouds so
electronics can be
observed
Hold both Contact
Heart Rate grips
firmly
On the 27451
PCB, measure the
voltage on J1 pins
2 and 3

battery voltage 6V
or greater?
Yes

Perform
general bike
electrical
testing
Have a helper
pedal bike at 25
RPM or greater
Perform Battery
Charge Testing
On the 27451
PCB, measure the
voltage on J5 pins
1 and 10

voltage here 6V
or greater?

Perform Start-Up
