Why does my Nautilus E616 console shut off while I'm using it?

  If the console shuts off during use, first, ensure the unit is properly plugged into a functioning wall outlet and that the connection is secure and undamaged; replace the adapter or connection if necessary. Check that all wires in the cable are intact, replacing the cable if any are cut or crimped. Also, make sure the cable is securely connected and correctly oriented, ensuring the small latch on the connector lines up and snaps into place. Try unplugging the unit from the electrical outlet for 3 minutes, then reconnect it. Finally, check that the magnet is in place on the pulley and that the speed sensor is aligned with the magnet and connected to the data cable; realign the sensor if needed, or replace it if damaged.

Using a conductive electrode cream can improve contact. If these steps don't work, the static handlebar may need to be replaced.

  If your Nautilus Exercise Bike operates, but telemetric HR is not displayed, ensure the strap is 'POLAR®' compatible and uncoded. Make sure the strap is directly against the skin and the contact area is wet. Select the Edit User Profile option for the User Profile. Go to the WIRELESS HR setting and make sure that the current value is set to ON. Try moving the unit away from sources of interference like TVs or microwaves. If the issue persists, replace the strap. If HR still does not function, replace the Console.
