orinternaldamagewithoutremovingtheDPFfromthe
vehicleandisusedtotestbasicfunctionalityoftheDPF.
ThisistobedonepriortoremovingtheDPF.
1.Thetransmissionmustbeinneutralandthe
parkingbrakeapplied.
2.Startandidletheengine.
3.Rapidlysnaptheacceleratorpedalfromidle
tofullthrottle.Thiscanbeperformedmultiple
times.
4.Duringtheengineaccelerations,visually
checkforaheavyblacksmokeexitingthe
exhaustpipe.
