Important note
Please always use the original cables of your USB device. Poor
quality cables can reduce the charging performance or even cause
malfunctions. This applies especially to replicas of Apple cables,
but USB-C also has black sheep among the charging cables.
Important note
Basically the APPCON is well protected against water penetrati-
on IP 68. It has been found that during a circumnavigation of the
world unbelievable and unimaginable weather and road conditions
prevail. It is advisable to carry the APPCON protected in extreme
conditions, e.g. in the A-Headset assembly or in a bag. If you treat
him as carefully while driving as your mobile phone then all is well.
In order to prevent the ingress of water, the APPCON 3000 must
never be sprayed or submerged with a sharp jet of water (hose,
high-pressure cleaner).
General APPCON 3000
The APPCON 3000 is ingenious and simple at the same time. It is
designed to generate direct current from any hub dynamo in order
to convert and store it in the APPCON 3000 and to continuously
power any USB device. Basically, the scenario applies: You drive
off with a full mobile phone and arrive with a full mobile phone. Of
course, everything depends on the electricity harvested, i.e. the
speed and driving time. But don‘t worry: The microprocessor in the
APPCON 3000 fully incorporates our experience with the previous
model, so that you can think a lot about this topic, but you certainly
don‘t have to.
