The development goal was to also supply large smartphones with
power during the cycle tour. However, you can only draw as much
power as you generate and therefore there is power in the APP-
CON 3000 buffer battery. When connecting a very large device,
e.g. a large tablet like Apple‘s iPad, the APPCON 3000 will deli-
ver its entire capacity within a very short time with up to 2 amps.
Tablets like the iPad have a much larger internal battery than the
APPCON 3000, typically the battery in a tablet has about 10,000
mAh capacity. Customers report that they were able to charge an
empty iPad by 30%, which is a very good value. Therefore, please
consider proportionality when evaluating the charge level.
Oh yes, to answer a question right away: You can‘t charge the big
battery of a pedelec with hub dynamo and APPCON 3000 ;-)
The installation is very simple.
Connect the hub dynamo to the 6-pin round plug of the APPCON
3000 with the supplied dynamo cable. Connect your mobile phone
or navigation device to the USB socket of the APPCON 3000 with
its USB charging cable. Done!

combination with the APPCON 3000 and call up information on
charging status.
