o Controls tab => Channels: Used to select trigger channel and adjust
acoustic channel gains.
Trigger Channel: Select the channel on which the instrument must
trig (PD is preferred).
Gains: Manually adjust channel gains.
o Controls tab => Monitoring: Configure the system for monitoring
acquisition.
Enable checkbox: Click the Enable checkbox to enable the
monitoring feature.
Interval: Select the time interval between two PrPD acquisitions.
Start time: Select the date and time for monitoring start, or check
the Now checkbox to start immediately after clicking the Start
Monitoring button.
End time: Select the date and time for monitoring end, or check
the No End Time checkbox to monitor indefinitely (up to computer
disk capacity).
Clock: Displays the current date and time. Corresponds to
computer time.
Previous acquisition: Displays the date and time of the previous
monitoring acquisition.
Next acquisition: Displays the date and time of the next set
acquisition.
o Controls tab => Auto-Loc: The Auto-Loc feature is designed to automate
every operation needed to locate partial discharge activity in the
transformer tank. Using the Auto-Loc feature is also faster than standard
operation as no large file is transferred to the computer.
START AUTO-LOC button: Launches the Auto-Loc operation.
Run count: Shows the number of Auto-Loc cycles executed.
Auto-Set: Indicates an Auto-Set process is running.
Signals Acquisition: Indicates an averaging process is running.
Processing: Indicates calculation process is running.
Last Results: Shows a summary of the last Auto-Loc cycle.
Overall Qualification: Indicates that the denoising process was
successful enough to attempt localization from the acquired
signals.
AE1, AE2, AE3, AE4 & PD: Indicates the denoising was successful
on the channel.
X shape indicators: Shows the general direction toward the
detected source.
