Installation
Preparation
Flange installation
1. The tank valve must be closed.
2. Remove the pipe stopper.
3. Install the proper flange with the air purging valve upward.
Antenna pre-insertion
1. Measure the length of the insertion: The antenna tip must be
~2.5cm (1 inch) inside the transformer tank.
2. Lock the quick clamp collar at the corresponding insertion
length.
3. Insert the antenna tip up to the valve entrance.
4. Hand-tighten central fitting nut.
Air purging
Slightly loosen the bleeding valve.
Slowly open the pipe valve.
Hand-tighten the bleeding valve when air is purged (oil will be
dripping).
Insertion
Holding the antenna’s handle, loosen central fitting nut.
Insert antenna up to clamp collar.
Hand-tighten central fitting nut.
Removal
Holding the handle, loosen central fitting nut.
Remove antenna up to pre-insertion length. Be careful not to pull the
antenna beyond second marking on rod.
Hand-tighten central fitting nut.
Close the tank pipe valve.
Slightly loose the bleeding valve.
Remove antenna from flange.
Remove flange and re-insert the pipe stopper.
