8.2 Maintenance intervals
The recommended maintenance intervals and instructions in the following table are
limited to the ALPHA 850 welding device.
The maintenance intervals for the connected guns and for the sorter can be found in
the specific devices’ operating manuals.
Warning:
Before maintenance starts, the welding device must be switched
off, unplugged and secured against restart!
If there are malfunctions, mechanical defects, overheating
damage or contact with liquids, the ALPHA 850 must shut down
and repairs made!

Visual inspection outside the device housing:
- welding cable, control cables and hoses
- Power plug and power cable *

Annual
According to DGUV V3, the welding device must
regularly undergo professional inspection.
The requirements for inspecting welding devices are
specified in EN 60974-4 (DIN VDE 0544-4) 2017-05 Arc
welding equipment - Part 4: Periodic inspection and
testing.

related processes (see EN 60974-4)
