Web User Interface Configuration

Default Settings

The following are the default settings for the device. Local (LAN) access (username: admin, password: admin).

TCPIP Settings

When your Router powers up, the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server (on the device) will start automatically.

Login Procedure

Open a web browser and enter the default IP address for the Router in the Web address field. In this case http://192.168.1.1.

Web User Interface Homepage

The web user interface (WUI) is divided into two window panels, the main menu (on the top) and the display screen (on the bottom).

This screen appears when selecting Wireless Bridge, and goes into a detailed explanation of how to configure wireless bridge features.

Station Information

This screen appears when you select Station Info, and shows authenticated wireless stations and their status.

Device Management Functions

Device Settings: Backup and Restore

The Device Settings screens allow you to backup, retrieve and restore the default settings of your Router.

Update Firmware

The following screen appears when selecting Update Firmware. By following this screens steps, you can update your Routers firmware.

SNMP Agent Configuration

The Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) allows a network administrator to monitor a network by retrieving settings.

SNTP Time Synchronization

This screen allows you to configure the time settings of your Router. To automatically synchronize with Internet timeservers.

Access Control Settings

The Access Control option found in the Management drop down menu, configures access related parameters.

Save and Reboot Router

This function saves the current configuration settings and reboots your Router.

Advanced Network Features

Local Area Network (LAN) Settings

This screen allows you to configure the Local Area Network (LAN) interface on your Router.

Network Address Translation (NAT)

Configures Port Forwarding, Port Triggering, and DMZ Host for network address translation.

IP Filtering Configuration

The IP Filtering screen sets filter rules that limit incoming and outgoing IP traffic.

Parental Control Setup

This Parental Control allows you to restrict access from a Local Area Network (LAN) to an outside network.

Routing Configuration

Default Gateway, Static Route and Dynamic Route settings can be found in the Routing link.

DNS Server Configuration

If the Enable Automatic Assigned DNS checkbox is selected, this device will accept the first received DNS assignment.

Dynamic DNS Service

The Dynamic DNS service allows a dynamic IP address to be aliased to a static hostname.

Voice Call Features

Configuring Voice Calls

Once your 3G10WV has been correctly configured to access the mobile network as outlined in Section 2.1 Quick Setup.

System Log Viewing

This function allows you to view system events and configure related options. Follow the steps below to enable and view the System Log.

3 G Connection Status

Select this option for detailed status information on your Routers 3G connection.

Network Traffic Statistics

These screens provide detailed information for: Local Area Network (LAN) and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN).

PING Connectivity Test

The PING menu provides feedback of connection test to an IP address or a host name.

Command Line Interface (CLI) Usage

CLI Command Reference

List all available CLI commands that the 3G router supports.

3 G Status Commands

Display the 3G radio signal strength. Display the 3G band. Display the 3G network connection status.

Wireless LAN Commands

Allows user to configure the Wireless LAN interfaces on the 3G router. This command can be use to configure basic feature.

MAC Filter Commands

Enable, disable and configure the wireless LAN MAC filter feature. This feature enables the router to allow or deny connection.

Access Control Commands

To list and to configure access control from LAN & WAN.
