• Restart. Restart the Digital Entertainer HD.
Advanced Settings
The following menu options are available to customize your Digital
Entertainer HD.
Display and screensaver
• Display type. Select the display you prefer. The default is North
America.
• Display mode. For a high definition TV, choose the appropriate
resolution.
• Aspect ratio. The Normal setting defaults to the same setting as the
content you are viewing.
• Smooth scroll. This setting affects the appearance of the Digital
Entertainer HD onscreen menus.
• Animation.Turn this feature on to make the Digital Entertainer HD
menus fly off the screen when you change pages.
• Brightness, Contrast, Hue. Although you can adjust these settings
on the Digital Entertainer HD, it is best to leave them at the default
settings of 50, and adjust the features on your TV.
• Screen saver. You can set the interval after which a screen saver will
protect your TV from image burn-in. You can use the Image option to
use a picture from your library as your screensaver.
• Skin settings. Choose one of the built-in skins, or backgrounds, for
the onscreen menus.
To add a skin, do the following:
1. From the main menu, navigate to More > Supervisor functions >
Advanced settings > Display and screensaver.
Note: Following a firmware update, you need to reload your
media library into the Digital Entertainer HD from the
backup location.
