Unpack and inspect the UX unit
Inspect the unit for any damage, and contact NET to report any problems.
Verify that the Interface Cards you purchased are installed in the chassis and properly seated.
Keep all packing material until you have successfully placed your UX unit into service.

Identify an installation site that meets the .UX2000 Chassis Installation Requirements
Installing the UX Chassis in a 4-Post Equipment Rack
The UX2000 chassis can be installed in a standard 19-inch, 4-post equipment racks. Mounting hardware is provided for racks with 24-inch and 30-inch
depths.
Before installing the UX2000 chassis in a 4-post equipment rack, you must first assemble and attach the 2 rear support brackets to the two rear rack
posts.
To Assemble and Install the UX Rear Support Brackets
In the mounting hardware bag provided with the UX system, find the rear support brackets (2) and 9-inch extension arms (2).
If you are installing the UX system into a 30-inch depth rack, attach the extension arms to the support brackets.
Attach the support brackets securely to the two rear posts of your equipment rack.
