5.9 Placing Front Window
Loosen the screws to slide the retaining clips up. Do not
remove the screws.
Wear the included gloves to handle the front window. Place
the front window into the two holders at the front of the
fireplace. Then rotate the window up. Slide the loosened
clips up so that the window can be positioned against the
top of the fireplace. Then slide the clips down to hold the
window in place.
Make sure the front window is centred and lines up with the
side windows. Tighten the screws on the clips so they are
snug. Do not overtighten the screws.
5.10 Front Window Adjustment
If the edges of the front window and side windows are not
straight the tilt of the front window can be adjusted to line
up with the side window.
To adjust the tilt of the front window, open the front access
cover and loosen the two outermost screws a turn or two.
Do not remove the screws. This will loosen the bracket that
the glass rests against at the top of the fireplace.
To adjust the front windows tilt, tighten or loosen the screw
shown below. This should be done on both sides of the
fireplace.
Once the front window is adjusted to line up with the side
glass, retighten the outermost screws.
